Sun Garden is a renowned family-owned company located in a small city in the north-east of Germany. It was founded in 1982 by Mr. Ewald Kösters and remains in family ownership to this day.
Today, the Sun Garden Group employs approximately 4,500 people in its state-of-the-art production facilities in Poland, Romania, and Ukraine. Additionally, around 100 employees work in our administration office in Neuenkirchen, Germany. With a turnover of approximately 320 million euros, we are among the industry's leading companies.
The success story of Sun Garden began in 1982 with the production of seat cushions for garden furniture. Since then, we have continuously expanded our product range and are proud to have introduced mattress production in 2005 and the first line of box spring beds in 2012. In 2015, we also started producing slatted frames at our facility in Poland.
Thanks to our fully-integrated production with in-house foam, spring core, and non-woven production in Poland and Romania, we have established ourselves as a leading manufacturer of mattresses and box spring beds in Europe. With a production volume of approximately 2.5 million mattresses and 400,000 box spring beds annually, we set standards in the industry.
